Andrea Becker-Abbott is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a Certified Addictions Counselor, Qualified Substance Abuse Professional, and an Employee Assistance Professional.
Andrea founded Andrea and Associates in August of 2022 to bring clients the experience of working with a therapy collective. Holistic, collaborative, and integrative, Andrea and Associates is always looking to work with other professionals to the extent that most effectively responds to clients’ individual and collective needs. From counseling and group therapy for individuals and families, to multidisciplinary and holistic services, people’s needs vary. Andrea has a culturally-sensitive,
diverse background in mental health and substance use disorders. As an advocate and mentor for people with substance use disorders, she has worked in the mental health/substance use field for 15 years. Prior to opening Andrea and Associates, LLC, Andrea began her career in substance use treatment at McCall Foundation in Torrington, CT. In 2012, Andrea founded CurArt, where she helped individuals heal through Art therapies. Andrea most recently partnered with Gerard Marcil (Jerry) at Connecticut Counseling and Wellness and CCW-EAP for the last eight years. Andrea and Jerry continue to collaborate to offer collective services to clients of both companies.

Eric Jacklin
LADC, CAC, ICADC, MS
Eric Jacklin has been working in addiction and mental health treatment programs since 2014. His professional experiences span an impressive spectrum of positions and responsibilities, and multiple levels of care - from working in a detox unit, several residential programs, court support services, and making presentations in family wellness workshops.
Eric has been a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) since 2015; an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICADC) since 2018, and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC) through the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health since 2020.
Eric is undeniably passionate about helping people who are honestly seeking the help he can provide. The successes he has achieved in his personal life greatly supplement the honed skills he uses to help others who may need assistance, education, and guidance - and an empathetic ear.
Eric cites specialties such as CBT, REBT, reframing, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies. He is also well-versed in 12-step recovery and harm-reduction approaches, and pathways to healing from trauma.
Kathy Daniels
Administrative Assistant
Introducing Kathy Daniels, our esteemed administrative assistant. With a wealth of diverse professional business experience, Kathy brings a unique set of skills to our team. She has previously worked and owned a medical Executive Recruiting Firm, served as a Human Resource Associate, practiced as a Reiki 1 Practitioner, advocated for individuals with disabilities, and showcased her artistic talents​

Kathy's recent role as an Administrator has allowed her to demonstrate her innate ability to help people through her empathic and compassionate nature. She is dedicated to providing personal support to indiviudals suffering from mental health and substance use disorders., and is actively pursuing further education and professional development in this field. Kathy is currently undergoing training in art therapy and is working towards obtaining a certification to specialize in serving the population of individuals that are served by Andrea and Associates, LLC

Scott L. Bell
LPC, LADC, Recovery Coach
Scott is a dedicated counselor committed to helping clients work toward healing and self suffciency while emphasizing personal strengths. He is a honest and disciplined professional with 10 years of comprehensive experience in residential and outpatient care. He is a compassionate counselor focused on helping patients overcome personal obstacles. Diligent and resourceful professional with 10 years of hands-on experience diagnosing issues and cultivating personalized treatment plans. Scott is capable of treating mental health and substance use clients effectively and with great care. We are happy to have Scott as part of our therapy collective.
Brandon Becker
Operations Manager
Brandon is our Operations Manager and billing specialist. With over 8 years of administrative experience, Brandon excels in putting clients first and keeping the office running smoothly.
